Teppichtasche
The Teppichtasche, german for carpet bag, is made out of leftover tufting wall-to-wall carpet. Carpet installation generates a modest amount of leftover, that typically ends up in a landfill. The Teppichtasche aims to recycle the leftover by folding it into a carpet shoulder bag that can be used for many years. One piece of carpet, cut into a proprietary shape, is folded into a shoulderbag. No sewing is needed to 'assemble' the bag, only nuts and bolts are required.
